Clara Vista has partnered with Venado for over 8 years – thanks to your support, we have been able to grow our programs from a few workshops to a fully operational community center! Thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers, the community center has been open year-round and we were able to offer even more English classes, computer classes, small business trainings, and nutrition workshops this year.
Even further, we launched our authentic community tours and micro-loan program to support local families and small businesses. This program empowers locals to leverage tourism to support their families, provide jobs within the community, and share and preserve Costa Rican culture.
Our community center is run completely off of your donations! Our annual holiday campaign is critical to keeping our doors open, and with all of the rapid development, it is more important than ever to empower the local community.
